Electrical discharge machining, or EDM, is an ideal method for producing holes, slots and complex shapes in conductive materials. Also called “spark erosion,” EDM uses an electrode to generate a spark that removes the unwanted material in its path. It is particularly useful in working with extremely hard metals and is capable of achieving a high quality finish.
Controlled by a CNC, our EDM equipment offers our customers the ability to precisely machine even hard-to-work-with materials like titanium, stainless steel and cobalt chrome. |
